No Mini Smite Crawlers?
I want one

They could've thought out the minis a bit more, but with so limited "bosses" or "allies" it's hard to just say, CORSAIR RAIDER MINI !!

As mentioned, a Smite Crawler, Armored Cave Spider, an Abyssal or Shadow Army fellow would've been cooler then a mandragor, a harpy or Xmas elf ... xmas elf, WTF?

Although it would be an absolute pain in the ass, if they somehow made it so you got a mini based on your profession ..
A 2 year ele would've received 1 of 3 ele people
A 2 year War would've received 1 of 3 war people
etc..
(Boss, ally, etc, etc)

But Still wanting a Mini Smite Crawler ... with a little pink ecto in his stomach :P :P :P

Arenet has a choice to listen to those who suck up to Arnet no matter what it does and ignore those who complain about what they dont like. If there were no complaints, there would not be any reversion of loot drop scaling or the addition of extra storage.

I do admit that I've seen people who always complain no matter what. However there were numerous valid complaints that you pro-Arenanet + anti-complaint people hate, as always. Maybe these people should learn how to complain than be happy with whatever is given.

I like most of the minis except the elf, koss, wolf thing and that imp. I can't wait till I turned 2 years old in 2 more months. I hope I can get mini Lich or mini Dijnn.

I still think nothing can beats the ultimate mini pet from the first series... Mini Bone Dragon!!!

No they are not FREE, they are there to keep us interested in playing the game and buying new chapters, expansions or even new games from Arenanet. And if these gifts, events and changes keep disappointing people, you know what the outcome will be.

I am not saying that Arenanet sucks or GW sucks or all the changes, gifts, events have been bad. I love GW, actually I am addicted to GW. However, there are things we dislike and want to voice our opinions to hopefully make this game even better.

You wonder why theres a slightly adverse reaction from Gaile ? It could be because all this community does is bitch and moan the amount of moaning over hard mode not being 'sorrows furnace' was greater than the praise. Now the same things happening with minipets.

Anet gives you free content you didn't expect to get when you bought the game and you throw it back in there face like a spoilt 5 year old. The realy shocking thing is according to a recent poll most the fanbase are over 18. If you think this whining is contructive criticism heres an anology: A relative gives you a £50 note as a present you throw it back in there face because you wanted more.

Lets just say keep this up and dont be surprised when next birthday you dont get your £50 note.

You'd have a valid argument if you were talking about storage, character slots, Greens, or anything else that actually has an effect on the game.

Mini-pets are, IMO, just a cool thing that Anet did not have to do.

And by complaining about it, you risk Anet thinking "Well, seems like nobody likes their gifts. Guess next year, we won't give out anything."

That's what I'm worried about: I like mini-pets, and I don't want to see a bunch of complainers ruin it for the rest of us.

Wow I have never seen a bigger bunch of whiners, brats, and ungrateful ass hats. The simple fact is this. Whether or not you like the idea of having a miniature is besides the point. Anet didn't HAVE to do anything for your characters. PERIOD!!!!!!!! They chose too reward the players who have been loyal Guild Wars players and I am personally thankful they even took the time out of their schedule to thank their player base. What other gaming companies have done this and given their players something for their character being a year or 2 years old? Be grateful you even got anything for your character.

Overall, I'm slightly disappointed with the mini-pet selection. We only received one enemy from Factions. Thats a bit unfair IMO.

Otherwise I'm pleased with Palawa Joko, Gwen, The Lich, Water Dijin, Aatxe and Juggernaut. I can't wait for the prices to become reasonable so that I can actually afford to purchase one. People seem to be quite crazy at the moment. 100k+ for White Pets. Folks are nuts. :P

It's WAY to early to start that list. Wait till more people get minipets, and see who gets common ones and rare ones. Looks like GWEN could be a rare one.
